Joints Are Better Than Tires
Your car tires WILL wear out eventually. Not so with your joints. Arthritis, which is joint damage resulting in cartilage loss and pain is not an inevitable result of aging or use. It is a common problem to be sure but it is not universal with aging. Heredity, injury and even some types of infection can result in joint damage. Don’t assume that joint pain is “just arthritis” or that we are supposed to hurt when we get older. Certainly, arthritis is more common as we age but it is NOT normal and does not need to be ignored. Osteoarthritis of the knee is one of the more common problems we see. Click here for more information about treatment options.
