American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) 
Founded in 1933, the Academy is the preeminent provider of musculoskeletal education to orthopaedic surgeons and others in the world. Patient information can be found on this site as well.

American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS)

American Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine (AOSSM)
American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM), a world leader in sports medicine education, research, communication, and fellowship. Founded in 1972, AOSSM is a national organization of orthopaedic surgeons dedicated to sports medicine.

Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA)
The Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA) exists to "promote, encourage, support and foster... the development and dissemination of knowledge... of arthroscopic surgery in order to improve upon the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries of the musculo-skeletal system.

Patellofemoral Foundation
The Patellofemoral Foundation's mission is to improve the care of individuals with anterior knee pain through targeted education and research.

International Patellofemoral Study Group
The International Patellofemoral Study Group  provides members with a forum to advance understanding of the patellofemoral joint. Unlike some more traditional formal orthopedic surgery organizations, IPSG is truly a "multi-disciplinary study group" at present with common goals and a diverse yet focused group of orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists and basic scientists.  IPSG endeavors to advance and disseminate the understanding of patellofemoral disorders by meeting regularly to present and evaluate multidisciplinary scholarly research and to exchange and stimulate new ideas.  Dr Post is the chairman of this group.
